BRQ Vantaa Festival received the EFFE label 2017–2018

This is the second time BRQ Vantaa Festival has gained international recognition after receiving EFFE’s – Europe for Festivals, Festivals for Europe – quality label! EFFE’s main goal is to bring together the festivals that are dedicated to the arts, community and European values, as well as to build bridges to bring the international festival communities closer to each other and to inform the public about the variety of European festival scene.

BRQ Vantaa Festival received the following feedback:

“The [BRQ Vantaa] festival makes an important effort to revive early music and to attract new audiences to enjoy this music genre which in Finland has very little own repertory. By commissioning new works for period instruments, by presenting unknown or totally new instruments the festival is looking towards future, yet keen on preserving and maintaining the tradition of early music.”

Now BRQ Vantaa belongs among the chosen festivals that are being given the 2017– 2018 EFFE label. We are very thankful and proud of being one of the Europe’s most distinguished festivals!
